Hyūga Sparring Match; Neji vs. Hinata « Thread Started on Apr 9, 2009, 4:02pm »
On a bright day at the Hyūga household in Konoha, Neji has just finished in his daily training with his uncle Hiashi. "Very good Neji. That will be all for today." His uncle said to him as he gave the slight nod in the form of a bow to his nephew. "Thank you uncle." the man said and returned the gesture with a bow of his own. The young Hyuuga sat at the edge of the area where he just practiced and sat at the wooden floor looking at the clouds and the birds that flew. His thoughts of improvement of the Gentle Fist had past through his mind. While he thought of the very subject, he thought of his cousin, Hinata. He noticed how her progress of their clan's martial art she made her own and closed his eyes. As her opened them, he saw Hinata walking on the opposite side of the floor. "Hinata-sama, it's been a while since we sparred hasn't it? Would it be alright if he both trained together in this match? "

"Hehe, goodbye Naruto-kun," Hinata said to Naruto. He gave her a light kiss on the lips, and with a grin, headed off on a mission he was recently assigned to. Hinata stood there, blushing to herself with a big smile as she looked down at the floor. With a happy smile still on her face, Hinata stepped into the household and walked down the hallway. Hinata walked into a room, and through her peripheral vision, saw her father leave the room. She heard her cousin, Neji, call out to her. She bowed down to him as he talked, and after hearing the suggestion of a spar, Hinata nodded and accepted. Hinata stepped down the very small flight of stairs down onto the soil. She kept her eyes on Neji. It really had been a while since they last sparred, and Hinata had practiced a lot in her fighting to improve in her skills. She hoped this time she would be able to directly match Neji in skill. She didn't think that she could beat him by now. Once she saw that Neji was ready, she did three hand seals, closing her eyes. "Byakugan!" she called out. Veins erupted from her skin and could be visible from under it around the outer sides of her eyes. She opened her eyes, activating her Doujutsu before she entered the Juuken Ryuu stance she practiced.

He stood up from his rested placed where he was and walked to the center of the Hyuuga household open area where they practiced. "Very well then..Byakugan!" he responded and he blinked as he accessed his Kekkei Genkai as well. Veins pulsed at the side of his eyes and his pupils are more focused showing the intensity in them. He extended his right hand forward as the primary striking hand, his palm turned so in the opening of in between the index finger and the thumb space has the opening to see his opponent. His left hand to a new position unlike that from the past use of Jūken Ryuu. The left hand is now at in front of his stomach making his arm bent and his palm is the same as the right. he began to step with his right foot to the left making a walking pattern to circle his opponent and see their movements. With the opening in his right hand, he sees through Hinata's movement in conjunction with his family's doujutsu. "Come Hinata-sama."
